Operator and agreement
SessionTerrain is a trading name operated as a sole proprietorship in India (we, us, our). These Terms govern our websites, research workspace, account features and support. You must have legal capacity to agree to these Terms. You must affirmatively accept the current required Terms and Privacy Policy before activating research access. If you disagree, do not use the research service; account and support access remain available.
Informational service only
The service provides informational, educational and research tools. Nothing is investment, financial, trading, tax, legal or accounting advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any instrument. We do not assess your circumstances, objectives, risk tolerance or suitability. We do not provide brokerage, execution, custody, portfolio management or fiduciary services. Obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.
Trading risk and independent decisions
Trading and investing can lose some or all capital. You make all trading and investment decisions independently and at your own risk. Do not rely solely on this service. Historical results, backtests, simulations, statistical relationships and past performance do not guarantee future outcomes.
Algorithms, forecasts and scenarios
Algorithms, models, probabilities, levels, scenarios and other outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, stale or fail entirely. Data errors, software defects, assumptions, changing market conditions, extraordinary events and infrastructure failures can invalidate outputs. No output guarantees a price, event, result or predictive performance. Methods and available features may change.
Market data and third-party rights
Market data is sourced from Finazon under the operator’s applicable licence. Finazon, underlying providers and exchanges retain their rights; their terms and licence restrictions continue to apply. This statement does not grant users redistribution or exchange entitlements. Third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, corrected or unavailable. We do not control third-party services, websites or data and do not warrant their availability or accuracy.
Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate account information and protect your credentials. Notify support of suspected unauthorized access. Do not share access improperly, impersonate others, submit unlawful or abusive content, introduce malware, overload the service, probe unauthorized systems or bypass security, rate limits or entitlements. Do not use the service in violation of applicable laws or provider restrictions.
Intellectual property
We and our licensors retain intellectual property rights in the service. You receive limited, revocable access for your own authorized research under your account entitlements. No scraping, systematic extraction, redistribution, resale, republishing or commercial exploitation is permitted without applicable written permission. Do not reverse engineer proprietary systems or circumvent restrictions, except where a mandatory legal right expressly permits the activity.
Support and feedback
Registered users may submit questions, bugs, data issues and feedback through Support, including after trial expiry. Tickets and replies are visible to the ticket owner and authorized administrators; internal notes are restricted to administrators. Do not send passwords, tokens, private financial account details or unnecessary personal information. We may use feedback to improve the service without an obligation to implement it or pay compensation, subject to your privacy and applicable rights. Support is not trading advice and response or resolution times are not guaranteed.
Availability and third-party services
The service is provided as available. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free or continuously available operation. Third-party services have their own terms; links do not imply endorsement. This clause does not exclude any mandatory warranty or statutory right.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SessionTerrain and its proprietor are not responsible for trading or investment losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service, its outputs or third-party data or services. Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or any liability, duty or consumer remedy that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited. Mandatory statutory rights remain intact. These Terms do not promise immunity from legal claims.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes account, security, technical, analytics and support processing. Acceptance of these Terms does not constitute marketing consent. Optional analytics preferences are separate and can be changed using Analytics preferences.
Suspension and termination
We may reasonably restrict or suspend access to protect security, enforce these Terms, comply with law or data licences, address abuse, or discontinue a service. Where practicable and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to raise an error with Support. You may stop using the service and contact us about account closure. Applicable privacy, IP, liability and dispute provisions survive termination to the extent relevant.
Changes and versions
We identify required Terms and Privacy versions and record affirmative acceptance. Material changes requiring acceptance prompt existing users before further research access. Administrative corrections need not require re-acceptance. Review notices and current documents; contact Support with concerns.
Governing law and mandatory rights
The laws of India govern these Terms, subject to mandatory non-waivable laws, consumer protections and jurisdictional rights that apply where you live. Nothing prevents you from using a competent court, regulator or statutory complaint mechanism available under applicable law. We do not impose an invented exclusive venue or waive mandatory remedies.
Severability and entire agreement
If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited or severed to the extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue where lawful. These Terms and incorporated policies form the agreement concerning the service, without displacing mandatory rights or a separately agreed written arrangement. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Contact and grievances
Contact support@sessionterrain.com or use in-app Support for questions, complaints, access concerns and privacy grievances. Include enough information to identify the issue without passwords or tokens. We review and route complaints and respond through the ticket thread or your contact email, subject to applicable legal time limits. You retain any right to approach a competent regulator or consumer forum.
